About Jaurim
Jaurim (자우림, 紫雨林, meaning "purple rain forest"), from Seoul, have continuously displayed a rock sensibility. They operated in the Hongdae indie scene before 1997, and became major with their first released song Hey, Hey, Hey (in MBC's '꽃을 든 남자 OST'). They have released nine full-length albums, three unofficial albums, three original soundtrack songs, and one live album. This rock band never shies from a challenge; listeners will discover alternative rock, big band, opera, unrepentant bubblegum pop, punk, and gothic-punk influences. Despite providing a little something for everyone, Jaurim keeps a firm grasp on their identity and integrity.
