Meet people through music
Lewd Acts were one of San Diego California's best kept hardcore secrets. Lewd Acts' brand of raw noise reeks of true soul and stunning originality. Opting to embrace their pre-1988 punk and hardcore influences, they shun metal tendencies of today's hardcore scene. Vocally crooning and sonically winding their way through each song in ways that are continuously moving and exciting. A release history: Lewd Acts released their demo in 2005, a recording that garnered enough interest to come out as a 7"EP just a few months later. In mid 2006, they released their "...On Lonely Nights" 7"EP on the Eating Rats label. Early 2007 saw Lewd Acts self release their "Dark Days" CD Collection, which featured the demo and 7"EP, along with three additional songs (a release they gave us that we thought to be awesome). They were also featured on the "Sound & Fury Festival 2006" 2XDVD. In March 2008, the band self released their "Play Me Something That I Know" cassette, which was later followed by their celebrated Split 7"EP/CDEP w/ Hour Of The Wolf in May 2008. Lewd Acts released the "Lung Patrol" 7" on 16OH/Animal Style records in the Fall of 2009.Their last album "Black Eye Blues" was engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) at God City Studios and was released on Deathwish . Lewd Acts broke up in June 2010 tyler then punched his guitarist in the face but apparently it wasn't hard enough. Lewd Acts got back together in 2012.
