Meet people through music
Ronald Joseph Radke (often called Ronnie) was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 15, 1983. In 2006, Ronnie Radke was involved in an altercation in Las Vegas that resulted in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Cook. While Radke did not shoot Cook, he was indicted on battery charges. Radke's past troubles with drugs and rehab led to a sentence of five years probation for the crime. He failed to report to his parole officer and was arrested in June 2008, where he was sentenced to two years in prison Escape The Fate: Ronnie and high school friends (I think that's right) Max Green, Robert Ortiz, Bryan Monte Money, Omar Espinosa managed to create Escape the Fate after all their other band attempts failed. After winning a local radio contest it awarded them the opportunity to open a show on the band's headlining tour with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect, which subsequently led to Escape the Fate's record deal with Epitaph. Due to drugs and 'ruining' the bands reputation, Radke was kicked out. Falling in Reverse: First called 'From Behind These Walls', they were forced to change when they realized another band already had the name. During prison, close friend Nason Schoeffler was present when Ronnie said he was going to stop singing and work a regular job. Disagreeing and saying [Ronnie] was meant for this, to which he shot back, "Want to be in my band then?" Nason made a MySpace page and began building, searching for members and eventually finding Jacky Vincent and Derek Jones. The band went through several drummers who were involved with drugs, landing with drummer Ryan Seaman. Nason quit the band in April 2011, getting replaced by Mika Horiuchi.
