Meet people through music
Coming out of the ashes of the Strange Daze Festival is an Ohio based Space Rock band called Secret Saucer. A modern space rock band, composed of members who have toured with Hawkwind and Nik Turner, Who are members (or ex-members) of Quarkspace, Architectural Metaphor, Church Of Hed, and National Steam. On their debut CD entitled "Element 115", the musicians got together for one weekend and just JAMMED! , therefore the music is pure improvisational spacerock/krautrock. The lineup includes Greg Kozlowski,(Gtr.,Synth) Steve Hayes,(Synth) Steve Taylor,(Gtr,Drums) Dave Hess,(Synth,Gliss Gtr.) Bill Spear,(Bass) Thom Marianetti,(drums,Synth) Paul Williams,(Drums,Synth) Jay Swanson,(Keys) and Dan Schnell,(Gtr,Bass) Ted Boburka,(Drums) with several of the musicians playing different instruments on various tracks. Over a dozen hours of music was recorded, but has been distilled down to their first CD. These are not mindless, wandering spacejams but cohesive and focused. If you like Hawkwind, Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Ash Ra Tempel, Gong, Amon Düül II, Nektar, Camel, Porcupine Tree, or Eloy, you will like the CD!
