About Tangarine
The band started out with the brothers Arnout and Sander Brinks who started writing songs at an early age. They say to be influenced by Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan and The Beatles. After a few years of playing in a changing combination of bandmembers, their first album Between the Lines was released in januari 2008. Their second album was released not long after that, in oktober 2008, with the name Fields of Poetry. Later more people joined the band and Tangarine became Tangarine & Friends. They released there 3th album in 2010 named 'A Mystery That Binds Us, Still" Tangarine & Friends are: Arnout Brinks (vocals/guitar) Sander Brinks (vocals/guitar) Tom Charmes (contrabas) Bernard Gepken (mandoline) Han Datema (dobro) Floris de Vries (banjo) Martine Stulp (fiddle) In November 2010 Arnout & Sander released their 4th album 'Wintersongs: The December sessions" as Tangarine -> www.wintersongs.nl In 2012 they signed with Excelsior Recordings. In 2013 they became the house band in the popular Dutch tv-show "De Wereld Draait Door". They also released their fifth album "Seek & Sigh". In 2014 their sixth album "Move On" was released.
