There is more than one band with this name: 1) Whiskers is a band based in Pleasant Hill, CA, founded in early 2006 by Tyler King and Jennifer Pereda. The band's first album, Subliminal Messaging, was released in early 2008, and the band have since recorded and released two albums and a handful of EPs. The band's signature sound is a clever blend of straight-forward rock and avant-garde techno music. After the original five-person line-up consisting of Tyler on keyboards & synthesizers, Jenn on bass, Olivia Knight and Q on guitar, and Cailie Hyde on drums, the band went through a number of line-up changes. The current members are Tyler, Jenn, Q, James Rose on drums & percussion, Chris Broyles on guitar, and Kendra Porciuncula on piano & keyboards. 2) Whiskers was a band located in New Jersey. They have released one album titled Here, Kitty Kitty Kitty in 2008. Their members include Ginger Spice, Brown Sugar, Dark Chocolate, and Double Stuf.
