About Wolves Like Us
Wolves Like Us is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 2010. Only a few months after forming the band they were signed to Prosthetic Records worldwide, and released their debut album "Late Love" to critical acclaim in 2011. They have been touring extensively since the band's formation. In 2011 they toured with the reformed Swing Kids, teamed up with their friends in Kvelertak for another run through Europe (a tour that also featured The Secret, Doomriders and Toxic Holocaust), and did a split-headline tour throughout Europe with thier labels mates Junius in the spring of 2012. Wolves Like Us also featured at major Norwegian festivals like Øyafestivalen and Hove festival in 2011, and played the Belgian Groezrock, Greenfield festival and Horst fest in 2012. The band features ex-members of a bunch of Norwegian bands past and present including amongst others Amulet, Infidels Forever, JR Ewing and Silver. A seasoned coterie of rock-veterans indeed, but fresh and hungry all the same. Their aims are clear and simple: to make the music they all love, drawing inspiration from heroes Quicksand, Killing Joke, Planes Mistaken For Stars and Hot Water Music but with Maiden style guitar riffs and Afghan Whigs vocal stylings.
