True.
"The Nobs" was a temporary name used by Led Zeppelin for one concert in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 28, 1970. They adopted this name as a result of a legal threat from Frau Eva von Zeppelin, a descendant of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, who was unhappy with the band using her family name.
According to Jimmy Page, the guitarist of Led Zeppelin, Frau Eva von Zeppelin tried to stop the band from appearing on TV during their early days, calling them "shrieking monkeys." The band tried to resolve the issue by inviting her to meet them, but she became angry again when she saw the cover of their first album, which featured an exploding Zeppelin airship. To avoid legal action, Led Zeppelin temporarily changed their name to "The Nobs" for that one concert.

The band's first album cover features a photo of the Hindenburg disaster, which occurred in 1937 when a German zeppelin burst into flames.
