There is more than one artist with this name: Decade were 80s french coldwave band. They released just one record: single Diva-Diva / Conquistador in 1987. http://www.discogs.com/Decade-Diva-Diva-Conquistador/release/2050114 Decade (Est. 2009) are an alternative rock/pop punk band from Bath, UK. Formerly known as 'Ready Set Low', under which they released their first EP 'Lost At Sea' (still up for free download http://goo.gl/IvLnA), they soon changed their name to 'Decade'. In 2011, they started making waves, finding themselves playing with the likes of D.R.U.G.S, Deaf Havana and Set Your Goals, as well as getting themselves on the festival circuit including Sonisphere, Make a Scene and Slam Dunk Festival. 2012 saw the band recording their second EP. The 5 track eponymous release was aided with the signing of the band to ICE GRILL$ Records. With their EP opening to all-round positive reviews, the band continued with their live shows. Kicking off a headline tour at the beginning of the year, and continuing to establish themselves amongst big bands such as A Loss For Words and Don Broco. May saw the band on the Slam Dunk Tour, playing with fellow pop-punkers Hit The Lights, Transit and The Story So Far, and finished off with them playing Slam Dunk Festival itself. With their signing to ICE GRILL$, they even saw themselves playing overseas in Japan for the first time. 2013 has been a hardworking year for the band, with self-funding the recording of their debut album with special merch sales, and signing with Spinefarm records (a part of Universal Music Group). At the beginning of the year the band found themselves co-headlining The Atticus Beer Tour, and their featuring on festival line-ups carried on, with the likes of Hit The Deck, Radstock, takedown and opening the Rock Stage at Reading Festival. As of August, the band has released two singles off of their upcoming album, set for release on January 14th 2014.
