Visually i don't like the newest tastebuds update at all.
But i will get used to it, if i must, meh.
Darker background = more eye-peace.
No comment edit option = plain fail.
Any other opinions?

this place needs to update movie library, I am missing so much nice posters :D
It should be possible to re-arrange the names in collections. Having to delete something and add it again to get it on the top of the list is rather silly...
On the Search page you have the power to filter other users by a range of advanced criteria, including location radius. Those filters will be strictly respected in your results on that page.
In other places across the site, such as the activity feed, we show items from people who once again match those criteria. However, in the event of a user not having a predefined number of activity items, some of their criteria will be loosened. The reason we do this is to give a better experience to all users, regardless of the sparseness of results in their area.
We have found, both anecdotally and analytically, that this strategy results in drastically increased levels of engagement and user satisfaction.
To be fair, i've hidden an awful lot of people, which is perhaps why it's much more of an issue for me than for others...but are you seriously saying it makes more sense to you that I see a list of people in Croatia rather than a blank screen? Surely it's up to me to decide that by widening my own search criteria as far and wide as i'd like (or by selecting All instead of Nearest)?
I find it frankly bizarre...and i've never come across it before...that a website would ask you to fill in search criteria, and then overrides it because it decides it wants to show you a minimum number of search results!!
Doesn't make much sense to me that you'd rather see nothing than people who match all your criteria except location? I understand what you're saying - location is the most important criteria for you - but increasing the radius is our best solution so far for when not enough people match your criteria or music taste. =)
It *is* showing by your criteria, but if we can't find enough people to show you based on your search filters we just increase the location radius so you don't have to stare at a blank screen. =)
So....what I am saying is....i'd rather you didn't increase my location radius...i'd rather stare at a blank screen than see people who don't fit into my criteria at all.

Your other filters matters as well...so if your age range is too narrow (for example), we expand the radius to show you more people. =)
Thanks....it makes more sense (to me anyway) to show the results that match my criteria. If there aren't many matches, then so be it, but at least I am seeing people I want to see. From what I understand, you are saying that if my criteria don't show up enough people, your system will ignore my criteria and will show people from anywhere...which negates the whole point of having criteria in the first place!!
