Well if anyone's interested (and this is fairly shameless plugging, but fairly uncommon these days so thought I'd give it an audience where some people might appreciate it), this is some real deal Jungle, digging deep, most of these tunes are 20 years old.

Well, this is a good start setwise. Has a truckload of crucial Detroit techno, the place where it all kicked off: www.mixesdb.com/w/1997-01-10_-_Surgeon_@_House_Of_God,_Subway_City,_Birmingham For something a bit more recent, Skirt is also quite good: www.mixesdb.com/w/2013-09-04_-_DJ_Skirt_@_Dommune,_Tokyo This is quite minimal and straight forward, however, and not the most listener friendly material. Needs a solid system and volume to be enjoyed as it should be.

Nah it's one of the electronic music genres I know pretty much zero about (that and House...), any advice? :)

Yeah you're right :) To be honest, was a bit of a misnomer as I just listened to Bloodclot Jungle Techno by Shitmat, and remembered some of the '94-'95 sets with MC GQ referring to all the music as bloodclart Jungle techno :D
Anyway - you seem like a veritable Techno expert? (forgive first impressions if incorrect), got any recommendations for sets etc?
