Sometimes a topic could be created by mistake. The same goes with messages. It would be nice to have a way to remove unwanted things.
For example
- when one clears the header of his own topic, it could delete the whole thread if it has no messages
- when one clears their message text, it could delete the message itself
( instead of popping out " Sorry, there was an error. " )

Why would you want to remove anything you've thrown into the cyberspace ether?
if no one contributes to your topic page, what's the big deal.
No one creates topics or sends messages by mistake.
Most of us apply due consideration before we post anything, be it construction of topic pages or soapbox replies.
Remember, the pen is mightier than the sword.
