Sitars i would like to point out of course you find much more of it in middle eastern rock as much as you would find a hawaiian guitar in hawaii that was full of some of the most unusual stuff but good luck trying to find the records or the artists 70s era iran almost like abstract music from the middle ages. though since their has been several musicians depending on the place it have crossed genres.
